JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — Pertamina Patra Niaga has announced lower prices for several of its non-subsidized fuel products, effective from 12:00 a.m. WIB on July 1, 2026, following a periodic review that considers global oil prices, fiscal conditions, and Indonesia’s economic situation.
Kitty Andhora, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, said the price adjustment is part of the company’s routine pricing mechanism, which follows government regulations and reflects changes in international crude oil markets.
“As we know, adjustments to non-subsidized fuel prices are based on movements in the global oil market and follow the applicable regulations and pricing mechanism. This adjustment has also been coordinated with the government,” Kitty said.
Following the latest evaluation, the prices of Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex, and aviation fuel (Avtur) for domestic flights have been reduced.
For regions where the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) is set at 5 percent, Pertamax Turbo now costs Rp19,300 per liter, down from Rp20,750, representing a decrease of Rp1,450, or about 7 percent.
Pertamina Dex has fallen from Rp24,800 to Rp21,150 per liter, a reduction of Rp3,650, or approximately 15 percent.
Meanwhile, Dexlite is now priced at Rp19,700 per liter, down from Rp23,000, marking a decrease of Rp3,300, or around 14 percent.
The price of Avtur for domestic aviation at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, before taxes, has also been lowered from Rp22,190 to Rp19,190 per liter, representing a reduction of Rp3,000, or about 14 percent.
Kitty said Pertamina remains committed to providing competitive prices while maintaining product quality.
“In addition to offering competitive prices, we continue to ensure that all our fuel products meet the required quality specifications so customers receive optimal benefits, both in terms of vehicle performance and fuel efficiency,” she said.
Pertamina’s retail fuel prices are now as follows:
Among competing fuel retailers, Shell has set the price of Shell V-Power Diesel at Rp21,340 per liter.
Meanwhile, BP-AKR lists BP 92 at Rp16,670 per liter, BP Ultimate at Rp17,240 per liter, and BP Ultimate Diesel at Rp21,340 per liter.
The latest price adjustment comes as fuel retailers continue to align their pricing with international energy market conditions while balancing domestic purchasing power and regulatory requirements.
