Jakartaweekly.com— Starbucks has introduced a Harry Potter-themed collaboration across its outlets in Indonesia, bringing a selection of themed beverages, food items, and merchandise inspired by the popular franchise.
The collaboration, developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, is designed to offer a themed in-store experience centered around elements from the Harry Potter universe, including references to locations such as Honeydukes and Hogsmeade.
Among the new menu items are three beverages: Honeydukes Bursting Bonbons Latte, Frozen Tea, and Frappuccino Blended Beverage. The drinks feature citrus and honey-bergamot flavor elements, combined with coffee, milk, or tea bases depending on the variant.
In addition to beverages, Starbucks is also introducing themed desserts, including a birthday cake inspired by the one featured in the Harry Potter series, as well as cake pops in fruity and mint flavors.
The collaboration also includes a range of merchandise, with more than a dozen drinkware items and several lifestyle accessories such as keychains and mini pouches. The products feature design elements associated with the franchise, including wands, owls, and other symbolic imagery.
The items will be released in stages, with early access for Starbucks Rewards members starting March 13, followed by wider availability across all customers beginning March 23, while supplies last.
Such themed collaborations have become increasingly common in Indonesia’s retail and food and beverage sector, as brands seek to attract younger consumers and create in-store experiences beyond core products.
