JAKARTA – Jakartaweekly.com, PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (“VKTR”) has reinforced its leadership structure following its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held in South Jakarta on Tuesday, as the company accelerates its transformation into a technology-driven sustainable mobility player.
The move is aimed at strengthening leadership capabilities, accelerating innovation adoption, and reinforcing VKTR’s position as a pioneer in Indonesia’s commercial electric vehicle (EV) sector and a leader in sustainable transportation.
During the AGMS, shareholders approved several strategic agendas, including changes and reaffirmations to the company’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors, approval of the 2025 annual report and consolidated financial statements, allocation of net profit for fiscal year 2025, and the appointment of a public accounting firm to audit the company’s 2026 financial statements.
Vice President Commissioner Anindya N. Bakrie said Indonesia’s EV industry requires long-term investment consistency and strong execution to support the clean transportation transition.
“The transition toward clean transportation requires more than ambition—it requires execution. In 2025, VKTR demonstrated tangible actions through the increasing operation of electric vehicles, strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities, and measurable environmental impact,” Anindya said.
He added that VKTR aims to make 2026 a phase of acceleration where electric vehicles become a practical solution for a more efficient, competitive, and sustainable national mobility system.
Shareholders approved the appointment of Sharif Cicip Sutardjo as President Commissioner, while Ilham A. Habibie joined as Commissioner alongside Anindya N. Bakrie, who remains Vice President Commissioner.
VKTR said the appointments strengthen the company’s capabilities in technology, industrial transformation, governance, and strategic leadership.

Additional appointments include Mochammad Yana Aditya, S. Erika Mouna Hamizar, and Indah Permatasari Saugi as directors.

VKTR also highlighted its operational achievements during fiscal year 2025 amid Indonesia’s accelerating transition toward low-emission transportation.
The company recorded a 60 percent increase in EV sales compared with the previous year, reflecting stronger domestic adoption of commercial EVs. VKTR also completed the delivery of 50 electric buses for TransJakarta out of a total order of 80 units, with the remaining units delivered in the first quarter of 2026.
As of April 2026, VKTR’s EV fleet had accumulated more than 17 million operational kilometers, contributing to an estimated reduction of 15,000 tons of carbon emissions.
According to President Director A. Ardiansyah Bakrie, strong leadership is critical for building the future of a technology-based mobility industry.
“The new management structure will accelerate VKTR’s transformation and reinforce its position as a leader in Indonesia’s commercial electric vehicle industry, driven by innovation and strong governance,” he said.
VKTR said the restructuring is expected to strengthen the company’s capacity to support Indonesia’s EV ecosystem through expanded production capacity, infrastructure development, and wider implementation of commercial EVs across strategic sectors.
