Jakartaweekly.com— BMW Indonesia hosted a JOY of Ramadan Gathering with members of the media, featuring a BMW Safety Driving Masterclass at the Indonesia Safety Driving Center (Pusdik Lantas Polri). The event allowed participants to learn safe driving techniques while experiencing the safety features of BMW’s latest vehicle lineup.
During the training session, participants tested BMW vehicles through several driving modules including hard braking, slalom, and drifting, guided by certified BMW driver trainers. The vehicles used in the program included the BMW 320i M Sport, BMW X3 xDrive20 M Sport, BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport, and the high-performance BMW M4 Competition Coupé.
The event also introduced the BMW Ramadan Campaign 2026, aimed at ensuring BMW owners can travel safely and comfortably during the upcoming Eid homecoming period.
The gathering was attended by several executives from BMW Group Indonesia, including Peter ‘Sunny’ Medalla, President Director; Jodie O’tania, Director of Communications; and Mahalingam Maganderalingam, Director of Customer Support. Representatives from the Indonesian National Police’s driving training center were also present.
“Through the BMW Safety Driving Masterclass, we demonstrate that high performance must always go hand in hand with responsibility and full control behind the wheel,” Medalla said. “Advanced safety technology is important, but the driver remains the most crucial element.”
BMW currently leads Indonesia’s premium car segment with an estimated 68 percent market share, reflecting strong customer confidence in the brand.
As part of its “Relax. We Care.” initiative, BMW Indonesia launched the BMW Ramadan Campaign 2026, running from February 28 to March 15 at all authorized BMW and MINI dealers nationwide.
The campaign offers a free Vehicle Health Check for customers who purchase spare parts worth at least Rp1 million or book service through BMW’s online system. BMW is also offering 15 percent discounts on selected maintenance bundles, including wiper sets, brake packages, body coating services, and lifestyle merchandise.
BMW vehicles sold in Indonesia are supported by a range of after-sales programs, including BMW Service Inclusive with up to six years of maintenance coverage, a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, and 24-hour BMW Roadside Assistance.
The programs are designed to ensure BMW customers enjoy both performance and peace of mind while traveling during Ramadan and the upcoming Eid holiday season. (***)
