Ade Hubart Teams Up with Rock Legend Ian Antono for New Single “Come On”

JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com – Indonesian singer Ade Hubart has released his latest single, Come On, marking his second collaboration with the country’s veteran rock producer Ian Antono.

The track follows Hubart’s previous work and continues his exploration of personal narratives through music. Produced by Antono, a figure synonymous with the peak of Indonesian rock, the song leans into a guitar-driven, emotional rock sound characteristic of the producer’s previous work with legendary artists such as Nicky Astria and Iwan Fals.

Ade said that the song try to express the feelings personally experienced – the mental burden that makes you feel pressured and weary.

“But I also want to convey that we must strive not to succumb to it, and instead find peace through the things we love,” he said on press statement, Monday, April 20, 2026.

The lyrics delve into themes of mental health and inner conflict, reflecting the confusion and emotional instability caused by life’s pressures. Despite the heavy subject matter, Hubart noted that the song is intended to carry a message of optimism and resilience.

Antono, known for his high production standards, utilized a lineup of experienced session musicians for the project to ensure the arrangement met his signature sonic quality. Antono’s portfolio includes producing some of Indonesia’s most successful musical exports, including Anggun C. Sasmi and Ebiet G. Ade.

Positioning the release as a personal milestone rather than a commercial venture, Ade said he prioritized artistic honesty over market trends.

“I am not chasing viral status or commercial success. This is a part of my life journey,” Ade added.
