JAKARTA, Jakartaweekly.com — ArtMoments Jakarta will return on June 4–7, 2026 at Agora Ballroom, Jakarta, carrying the theme “Offerings,” which positions art not merely as an object, but as a medium for the exchange of ideas, emotions, and human connection.
ArtMoments Jakarta Co-Founder and Fair Director Sendy Widjaja said the “Offerings” theme reflects the evolution of the art world, where artworks are increasingly viewed as offerings with cultural, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual value.
“‘Offerings’ reflects this evolution and positions the art fair as a space where art becomes a form of offering—cultural, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual—in response to a world that increasingly values meaning, connection, and authenticity,” Sendy said in a press release on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
He added that this year’s edition continues the previous themes, “Renewal” and “Restoration,” with a focus on exploring what the art world has to offer following a period of reflection and recovery.
ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 is designed as a platform that brings together artistic vision, curatorial direction, and collector engagement within a shared cultural dialogue.
A total of 75 exhibitors from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and South Korea are set to participate in the event. The presence of exhibitors from across the region is expected to strengthen Southeast Asian art’s position in the broader global art conversation.
ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 will also feature several curatorial programs, including ArtMoments Masters, which pays tribute to influential modern artists, and the “Intimacy of Offerings” exhibition, which explores personal interpretations of the main theme. In addition, the Charity Moments program underscores the role of art as a force for social impact.
Visitors will be presented with works by prominent Indonesian artists such as Sudjana Kerton, S. Sudjojono, Mochtar Apin, Gregorius Sidharta, Made Wianta, and Jeihan Sukmantoro, alongside emerging artists including Demi Padua and Arifin Neif.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of artistic mediums, from works by the International Watercolor Society to photography by Ted Van der Hulst. Organizers are also introducing interactive elements such as MobArt’s Kids Section and the launch of Carrot Card Season 2 to make art more accessible to young collectors and new audiences.
Unlike conventional art fair formats, ArtMoments Jakarta 2026 adopts a more participatory approach with an integrated curatorial vision under the direction of Jeong Ok Jeon. The approach is designed to foster dialogue between artworks, programs, and audiences, transforming the visitor experience beyond simply viewing art.
To improve accessibility, the organizers have partnered with Bank Central Asia (BCA) to offer incentives such as cashback programs and 0 percent installment plans, making art collecting more accessible to the public.
Pan Pacific Jakarta has once again been appointed as the official hotel partner for this year’s event. Alasdair Davidson, Complex General Manager of Pan Pacific Jakarta and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Jakarta, said the collaboration aims to create a more immersive experience connecting art, culinary experiences, and hospitality services.
“As a destination rich in art and cultural heritage, this collaboration allows us to present hospitality as an offering that goes beyond accommodation,” Alasdair said.
